I’ve written bits and pieces on BBC Radio 2, 4 and 5 comedy shows, worked in the script team for two series of Channel 4’s comedy-drama ‘Shameless’ and am currently working with The Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool as part of their script development programme. I am also a songwriter with songs on all major platforms.

OUTFIT

In my hometown of Prescot in Merseyside on the 21st and 22nd of August it was the Serious Nonsense Festival which featured lots of great street performers and artists, many dressed in costumes, and a tremendous amount of effort and passion went into them all.

The festival mirrored the three-day cultural carnival that used to happen in the town annually in the 16th century when performers, including Shakespeare’s travelling group of actors, travelled to the town from all over the country.

It was a tremendous couple of days for Prescot with lots of families flocking here to join in and see the performers.
